It was love at first sight
The first time I saw the new 2012 VW Beetle was in a commercial. I absolutely fell in love with it and immediately wanted one. This love didn't just start though, I've always wanted a VW Beetle. As long as I can remember I wanted a yellow one, and while the color of my future car has changed, the model hasn't (well, except for the year).
I've been drooling over pictures on Facebook and the VW website. And I even saw one in real life at Target one time. The owner was putting her things in it, and I was going to ask her if she liked it, but I chickened out. This is weird since I've never been much into cars.
There's a VW dealer on Blackstone in Fresno, and whenever we drive by I always make sure to look for the Beetle (as long as I'm not driving). Last weekend, we saw a baby blue one! Their website lets you build your own. The only color choices are black, red and baby blue. Out of those three, baby blue is my number one choice.
I just love how the inside has a vintage look. It's like you can get an older looking car without having to deal with the issues of an older car.
If I had my choice, I would choose one of these colors either a mint green or teal. Maybe a little sparkly. I like sparkles.
OR
And I would really love for it to be a convertible, my windows are always rolled down anyway.
Now, I have no idea if this is even a good car to have, but I love it.
I would name it Joon Bug. Joon, after Benny & Joon of course.
